Day 9 - Foraging Bend

Yow. It happened to Stumptown Coffee. Now it has happened to Lone Pine. Their good ol' location in a downtown alley festooned with graffiti has given way to this slick new coffee shop filled with shiny tech workers. Thank goodness the coffee is still excellent. Ambience is the same as any big-city coffee shop filled with shiny tech workers.

A Russ and Wendy road trip tradition: The Mighty Cheese Hoard. This trip's Hoard comes from the Village Market in Manzanita, and Market of Choice and especially Newport Market in Bend. Standouts we never see in Vancouver: Cowgirl Creamery, Rogue River Creamery, Marin French - and some good ol' favourites that are hard to find: Peter Bob and Cypress Grove hard cheese.
